ghost body

“I will tell you my secret…I see dead people.

They don’t know they are dead.
They just see what they want to see.”

This is 8 year old Cole Sear telling Dr. Malcolm Crowe in the movie The Sixth Sense.

Have you seen it?

I love that movie and I get goose bumps every time I watch it!!
So why am I writing about this today?

It’s simple. I don’t know about the dead people, but you know what, so many of the so called LIVE people are also the same.

“They just see what they want to see.”

And honestly half of us are walking around in an auto-pilot mode like zombies anyway!!

We get up.
We work at work.
Then we work some more at home.

We see only what we want to see.
Work, commitments, responsibilities, chores, schedules, deadlines, to-do lists and some more work.

We buy fancy ‘time-saving’ gadgets, and yet we don’t have time.

We have become human machines; programmed to see only certain things.

We don’t pay attention to how we feel anymore.
We have squashed our desires, and banished them to the dark, dreary corners of the ‘feeling-less’ land.

We don’t even dream anymore.
We have nightmares instead!! :0

We justify it as “Such is life”.

Overtime, this manifests as symptoms in our body.

Chronic pain, tightness, feeling constricted, panic attacks, heart palpitations, emotional eating, sugar cravings, migraines, indigestion, diarrhea, extreme lethargy, sleepless nights take over our bodies and lives.

This is just skimming the surface. There are so many more symptoms and dis-eases these days.

We’ve made sky rocketing scientific advancements in the medical field.

Hell, we’ve even reached the moon and the mars.
We’ve reached the depths of the deepest oceans and discovered life forms we never knew existed.

And yet, we’re not brave enough to dive deep into our hearts.

We don’t have the courage to be still and ask ourselves, “What do I need right now?”
We can’t gather the strength to look within and wonder, ‘Where are all my dreams and aspirations?”

“Who am I?”

I had lost myself in the rat race few years ago.

My physical manifestations were chronic pain (fibromyalgia), IBS, sugar cravings & weight gain.

I was looking for answers outside of me.
I did blood tests, MRIs, ultrasounds and what not.
There were no answers there.

I went to nutrition school and fixed my diet.

That helped.
A lot- coz I was nourishing my body well now.

Meals were not a last moment, “Gosh I gotta eat something, so let me just stuff myself with anything that looks like food.”

I nourished my body, as the first step.

That was winning only half the battle.

The other half was nourishing my mind and my heart.

Reconnecting with what I really wanted out of my life.

I had hobbies once again.
I MADE time to do things I loved.
I prioritised myself over any to-do list.
I questioned my negative thoughts and fears.

This is what I help my clients do.

Reconnect with their true self, and nourish their bodies and minds so that they can get their mojo back.
